Transforming Lives through Fitness: The Inspiring Journey of Zara Ilieva
Hi, my name is Zara Ilieva, personal trainer, fitness enthusiast and founder of Zara angels fit.
My fitness journey began at the age of 15 years old with a desire to become stronger and healtier, which led me to hiring a personal trainer. The experience was transformative and inspired me to become a personal trainer myself with the goal of sharing my knowledge and helping to make a difference in other people's lives and lifestyles who may be struggling to find a love for exercise or may have an unhealthy relationship with themselves.

From personal experience, the biggest obstacles I faced during my own journey was the ability to remain consistent and motivated due to mental and physical setbacks I have experienced. Fortunately, I have managed to stay on track with my training with the ability to comeback stronger and more powerful after every set back which is largely attributed to my believe in adopting a strong mindset. Summarised by my own motto "sore like an eagle, fight like a warrior, vibe as an angel, lift mountains", I truly believe that most obstacles are all in your mind and if you can change your mind, you can lift mountains. The eagle represents the power of the mind and body, the angel represents the spiritual aspect, the mountain represents challenges, and fitness represents taking care of our physical health. Embracing these symbols can help us find the strength, power, and enlightenment that we seek, and embark upon a journey of self-discovery, self-motivation and growth.
Although a predominantly fitness related journey, I have learned many attributes that have positively impacted other areas of my life including my personal relationships and career. I am more dedicated and determined in all aspects of my life and personally feel empowered to always achieve more for myself but also for others. I like helping others in similar circumstances, so that they can overcome their own obstacles in life.
Think Big, Elevate Your Mind, and Never Settle!
To anyone making the important decision to start their own fitness journey, I would advise them to think big, elevate your mind, and to never settle for small talk. Personally, witnessing the physical changes to my body helps to keeps me motivated, whether it is the dropped weight or the leaner muscle but the real motivation that keeps me going when the physical change slows is my warrior mindset and my passion for life, knowing that the best is always yet to come!
The Mind-Body Connection: Prioritising Mental Health in Fitness
My top priority is always maintaining good mental health. When your mind is in a good place, your workouts naturally fall into place and as a result, I strive to create a fun and adventurous environment where I can find balance, inner peace, and tranquillity. The gym is where I work on developing a growth mindset and cultivating a positive attitude toward challenges. Remember, fitness is more than just physical, it's a mindset. With dedication, determination, and care, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
Moving forward, I plan to refine my physique and advance my knowledge by traveling around the world and attending different training programs or styles to become more knowledgeable and experienced.
